What is 21 East?

21 East Yoga Co-op is an independently run art, music & wellness facility that offers classroom space to established & developing teachers of yoga, pilates, aerobics, dance, figure drawing & other like-minded disciplines. We are based in downtown San Jose.

Our goal is to provide the downtown community with affordable access to a variety of personal enrichment classes & workshops, while also fostering professional development opportunities for independent artists, teachers & practitioners of alternative disciplines.

Classroom space is also available for holistic healing, energy work & sound therapy workshops. The main classroom can accommodate up 25 students (with mats).

Walk, Run, Bike or Drive...

We are located in the heart of Downtown San Jose on Santa Clara Street in between 1st & 2nd streets. Bring your bike upstairs & we got a place to store it during class. Parking your car can be a little tricky but here are your options:

Free Parking

Heading north on 3rd street starting near Jullian can find free street parking without meters. About a 10 minute walk to the studio/

Garage Parking ($1/20min)

Victory Parking (64 N. Market St., between Santa Clara and St. John streets)
Market/San Pedro Square Garage (45 N. Market St., between Santa Clara and St. John streets)
Central Place Lot
(80 E. San Fernando Street, just north of San Jose Repertory Theatre)
Paviiion Garage
(150 S. Second St., just south of San Fernando Street)
Third Street Garage (95 N. Third St., just north of Santa Clara Street)
Fourth Street Garage (44 S. Fourth St., at San Fernando Street across from the Dr. Martin Luther King., Jr. Library)
Second & San Carlos Street Garage (280 S. Second Street, also accessible from South Third Street)

Meter Parking (1$/hour)

Most meters close to the studio are 1 hour only. Meter maids are pretty vigilant in downtown so this is not an ideal option.
